The best sold mobile phone is not a mobile phone

The top ten best sold mobile phones this month in Telia stores places a USB modem as the best sold such device. The product has been in top three for the last three months and now has worked its way up to the first place.

The USB modem comes packed with 3G and PC connectivity performances. Wireless broadband continues to make an important part of the Telia store sales, just as it has been the case until now. Aside from this device, Nokia and Sony Ericsson have dominated the top with their phone models.

The first mobile phone in the top has been Sony Ericsson's K810i. The device has moved one place higher this month, although it has been a constant presence in the top for a long time. The device comes packed with all of the most evolved performances coming from mobile phones nowadays. It includes a built-in camera, MP3 player, email sending, 3G connectivity and also support form Telia stores.

The second mobile phone in the list is Nokia 1110i. The device is an entry-level handset which holds none of the capabilities of most evolved handsets. It is the only mobile phone of this kind in the top and turns out to be rather surprising to see it in a leading position. Still, the device has been even higher in top in previous months, although right now it has risen from the fourth place.

There are also some new entries in the top 10 of the best sold mobile phones at Telia stores. Nokia 6085, Sony Ericsson W200i and K550i have just entered the classification. They come with similar performances, although not all of them have proved to be just as successful.

Several stores have started reporting sales of USB modems and PC cards together with those of mobile phones, which explains Telia's introduction of the USB modem in the list.
