Zumobi seems determined to make its applications available on a wider range of platforms, and, after having its software solutions available for the iPhone, now we learn that the company also delivers two applications for Palm Pre's webOS. The new apps, namely the Today Show and Sporting News Baseball, can already be downloaded for free from Palm’s App Catalog.

The first of the Zumobi apps, Today Show, offers users the latest videos, stories, and photos, basically covering all the multimedia content they would like to have directly on their phone. Some of the popular categories that the application comes with include Entertainment, Food & Wine, or Health, as well as Fashion, Relationships, and Travel. The app is a “compelling new way for TODAY viewers to enjoy content from America’s number-one morning program for more than 13 years running.”

The company also says that all these categories are presented by personalities from America's #1 morning show, while also adding that new information is offered throughout the show so that users will be able to enjoy it at any time of the day on their Pre. In addition, the application also comes with an innovative zooming user interface and with a vibrant design.

The second app from Zumobi that is now available for owners of a Palm Pre handset is Sporting News Baseball, which enables users to discover all stats, standings, post-game recaps, player details and news, as well as fantasy information on their favorites. In addition, they can also add the favorite MLB teams directly on their homescreen so that they can access scores much faster.

One other feature that the application comes with is the fact that it provides updates during in-game action so that all the info received by users is as fresh as it can be. Moreover, it will also offer breaking MLB news directly from Sporting News, so that any baseball fan can enjoy using this application.
