It seems that Samsung is going to make a little bit of a show at the Mobile World Congress next week in Barcelona, given the fact that more than a dozen new handsets the company has in the works have recently leaked to the web. Two of the yet unannounced devices that the Korean phone maker plans to unveil are the Samsung Eltz S7220 and Samsung Marcel.

The newly spotted Samsung Eltz S7220 comes as a mainstream (mid-priced) candybar that features a 5-megapixel camera and a 2.4-inch AMOLED screen display. The new handset also includes 3G and GPS capabilities, but there is no word on Wi-Fi connectivity, so it may lack from the specification list.

The S7220 includes a microSD memory slot, allowing users to expand the available memory of the device. The new handset seems rather well equipped and sports the company's feature phone interface, which means it is not a smartphone. More info on the Samsung Eltz S7220 should be available at the MWC show in Spain, since the phone maker is expected to announce the device there.

The second new Samsung phone we learned about is the Samsung Marcel, which presents itself as a thin slider that features a 2.2-inch screen and includes a 2-megapixel photo snapper. The new handset is stated to come to the market as the successor of the J700 phone. The Samsung Marcel is also expected to be showcased in Barcelona, which means that more details on the device would become available at that time.

As stated above, the Korean mobile phone maker is expected to announce a large number of new handsets by next week. Some of them have already been spotted over the Internet, and the company even unveiled officially a couple of them, but there are a lot of details on its plans that are still unavailable at the moment.
