Pictures of another nice-looking Samsung handset have emerged to the web, following the recently spotted photos and details of several other mobile phones the Korean maker supposedly has in the works. Today we see the Samsung Acme i8910 in the spotlight, the latest addition to the company's eclectic portfolio of devices.

The new and yet unannounced Samsung Acme i8910, as it can be seen from the picture attached to this article, comes with a sleek and stylish exterior design, and those who are familiar with the company's lineup will see that it resembles that of the popular Samsung Omnia handset.

The new device is expected to come as a full-touchscreen phone, which should also include an 8-megapixel camera, as we'd expect from Samsung. The feature list of the device also includes GPS capabilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, along with HDMI, a 3.5mm socket, DNLA and DivX compatibility and HD recording functionality. The same as its bigger brother, Acme is expected to come to the market in both 8GB and 16GB versions.

The similarities between the two handsets are somehow striking. The specifications show that Acme i8910 resembles a lot Samsung Omnia, which has been reported recently to come in a 16GB version as well. Moreover, the device can also be compared to Apple’s iPhone, yet we should first see it on the market to be able to evaluate the way it would stand up in front of its competitor.

There are no details available at the moment on what the operating system of the device will be, yet some voices over the Web suggested that the Samsung Acme i8910 would run under Symbian given the fact that it is a smartphone. No info on the availability of the handset has surfaced, nor on its price tag, but expect it to be nowhere close to cheap.
