Photos and specs of the Samsung Memoir T929, which is expected to come to T-Mobile on the 25th of February, have recently been leaked on the Web. The handset, a US version of the Samsung Pixon, comes with an 8-megapixel camera paired with a Touch-Sensitive 1.61” x 2.64” LCD screen able to deliver a 240 x 400 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors.

According to the news, the T-Mobile Samsung Memoir T929 should also include Bluetooth Wireless Technology, Advanced Speech Recognition, Advanced Responsive Touch Screen, a full QWERTY Touchpad, EDGE High-speed Data, GPRS, USB Interface, Music Player (MP3), as well as support for the carrier's myFaves.

The phone is stated to come with support for GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900; UMTS Band IV, Band I frequencies. An interesting fact worth mentioning here is that the feature list does not say anything about UMTS, only mentioning EDGE, nor GPS, although the phone should include the functionality. As soon as an official announcement will be made the inconsistency should clear up right away.

The feature list also shows the device as including support for graphic formats like BMP, PNG, BCI, JPEG,GIF, PMD, audio files including MP3, AAC/AAC+, MPEG4, WAV, MIDI, as well as video formats such as MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV. More features include vibrate mode, POP3 email support, Web browser, multiple messaging options, organizer, voice memo, megaTones and HiFi Ringers, as well as Volume Up/Down Keys.

The Samsung Memoir T929 measures 4.17 x 2.11 x 0.55 inches and weighs 4.4 ounces. Its battery should provide up to 5.5 hours of talk time and around 300 hours of standby time. The phone should feature a price tag of $299. The leaked specs seem legit when compared to those of the European version of the device, yet more specific details should be unveiled as soon as the launch date nears.
