Fans of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise have just received another big reason to get the upcoming Ocarina of Time 3D remake for the Nintendo 3DS, as the game will include the special Master Quest version, alongside the regular edition of the game.

Nintendo is pushing hard to make its upcoming 3DS handheld console a success, and one of the big titles to be released for it is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, a remake of the original Nintendo 64 game with 3D graphics that showcase the features of the new console.

We've already heard quite a bit about the game and even seen some mighty impressive screenshots last week.

Now, Nintendo of America PR representative David Young confirmed that Ocarina of Time 3D would also include the special Master Quest version of the game.

For those not familiar with the Zelda franchise, the original Ocarina of Time appeared for the Nintendo 64. After that, when The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker was released for the GameCube, it included a bonus CD with a special version of Ocarina, subtitled Master Quest.

This edition had the same story and gameplay, but featured changed dungeons and puzzles, as well as tougher enemies, effectively making it a whole new experience.

This statement is pretty important and will no doubt get Ocarina of Time 3D on top of the wish lists for every new Nintendo 3DS owner.

As such, when the game is officially released, sometime at the end of June judging by the statements of the Japanese company, players are going to get not one but practically two games.

After that, Nintendo is preparing to launch The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, for the Wii home console.

Expect even more Zelda news in the following months, as Nintendo promises that it will honor its franchise this year because it's the 25th anniversary of the adventure series.
