Clear photos of HTC's smartphone

Did the blurry photos of the HTC Vox leave you wanting to see more? Personally, I believe that 'live' photos of a handheld, as blurry as they may be, are to be highly appreciated, firstly because you get to see the actual phone and secondly because the appearance of leaked photos featuring a device in the wild always means that more info is on the way.

Now the Vox has been mentioned many times before and the specs haven't really changed. The only thing that's new is the photo that Boy Genius Report has come across.

According to rumors, the HTC Vox will be among the first of the Taiwanese manufacturer's phones to come with Microsoft's new Windows Mobile Crossbow.

The 5 way jog bar underneath the display seems to be gone for good and the slide-out QWERTY keypad has been slightly modified, HTC having squeezed in 4-way navigation arrows aside from repositioning the spacebar.

The quad-band GSM Vox will come with a 2 megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keyboard. 2.4 inch screen with a QVGA resolution, a TI OMAP processor running at 200 MHZ, Bluetooth for connectivity, WIFI, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion.

For such a thin smartphone, the HTC Vox is a pretty impressive handset and some people will definitely await its release with great excitement. The Vox is expected to show up in the second quarter of the year, and something tells me that we'll be hearing about this smartphone again before it is officially launched.
