Vivendi Games Mobile has announced the release of "The Bourne Ultimatum", a mobile game based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling novel, with the same name. There will also be a movie hitting theaters in North America today, which makes this game release come at an even better time.

The company has also released a trailer for the game in order to arouse the interest of potential gamers. It shows all the action that it has to offer, in its best shape, as the player has to race through the entire game for survival. He can jump, sprint, roll and disarm opponents with great skills. There are two core platform levels which vary with some motorbike sections where the gamer must simply manage to run from attacks and reach safety.

There is a large number of enemies that pose a real challenge in defeating and managing to stay in the race, as shooting cars, trucks, bikes and helicopters follow your trail. The player can use floors, doors, walls and other features to take cover from the constant attacks.

"The Bourne Ultimatum" also features bright, vibrant graphics and newly reworked music from Robert Ludlum's Bourne films. This adds an extra amount of style and surely makes gameplay more enjoyable. There is a total of 16 levels to go through with intense and non-stop actions, as few other mobile phone games have to offer.

"The best-selling spy novel, The Bourne Ultimatum, by Robert Ludlum provides the perfect inspiration for an action-packed and intense mobile game", said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. Moreover, "Coinciding with the release of the latest movie, players will be able to experience the full rush and thrills of being Jason Bourne, the same way they are portrayed on the big screen", he further declared.

"The Bourne Ultimatum" mobile phone game is available from now on for a large number of handsets across the world. There will also be a video game based on the same movie concept, but this one is due to come only in the summer of year 2008.
