Geometry Wars: Evolved Mobile will soon be coming on Verizon Wireless Get It Now-capable phones. The game follows the pattern of the console one, making it a highly addictive challenge coming from the handsets.

The mobile phone version of the game has been adapted in order to match the limits of this environment. Even on a small screen, Geometry Wars: Evolved Mobile looks just as great. The graphics have never been among the most evolved ones, which has made it quite easy to squeeze it on cell phones screens with the least effort.

Sony BMG Music Entertainment has struggled to make this game as easy to play as possible, making the Xbox 360 Live Arcade hit mobile. Gamers can use four, or eight-way buttons, which makes it incredibly easy to handle in the combat against enemies.

"The game has managed to capture the essence of the original game, whilst being tailor made for the strengths of the mobile platforms and their audience", considers Martyn Chudley, managing director of Bizarre Creations. Moreover, "The controls are intuitive and the visual style is true to the Geometry Wars world".

Geometry Wars: Evolved Mobile comes with eight gameplay modes, including Untouchable, Survivor, Monster, Trenches, Speed, Multiplier, Feline, and Bomber. The player controls a ship that must destroy all circles, squares and diamonds that it is being attacked with. One thing which really makes the game even more challenging is the fact that players have the chance of comparing their score to those of other players in an online ranking.

More than 25 Get It Now handsets are capable of supporting this game. Geometry Wars: Evolved Mobile will be available from now on for Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers from Get Fun & Games in the Get It Now website. The game can be purchased for a monthly access with USD 3.5 or an unlimited use purchase for USD 6.5.
