14 DAY TRIAL // John Mayer may have broken her heart, but it won’t stay like that for ever. Taylor Swift has reportedly spent the entire weekend with her new beau, actor Jake Gyllenhaal – and there are photos to prove it.
Over the weekend, one of the brand new songs included on Taylor’s latest album, “Speak Now,” surfaced online, confirming that the person it was written for must surely have been John Mayer.
Now, reports are coming in from all sources, saying that the 20-year-old country darling has started to romance actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who just recently ended a relationship with Reese Witherspoon.
TMZ reports that the two spent the entire weekend together in New York, doing “couple things” and basically having a lot of fun, while also making sure they flew under the radar.
“The 20-year-old singer, whose new album drops today, was spotted with the 29-year-old ‘Prince of Persia’ star all over New York City last weekend,” TMZ’s Too Fab reports.
“Jake was reportedly part of Taylor’s entourage for the SNL afterparty on Saturday – and the two were photographed in Brooklyn together after brunch on Sunday,” the same report reads.
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton, as unreliable as he may be at times, confirms the story – with photos taken by a reader, showing the two together, apparently on a date.
“They showed up together. They walked around together backstage, but they were careful not to be seen too close,” the source tells Perez of Jake and Taylor’s SNL date.
“It was hard to tell if they were together, but everyone was shocked that she brought him,” the same spy explains. In the end, since they were seen together the next day as well, little doubt remained that they were a couple.
Since last time we heard of Taylor, she was putting out a song about how John Mayer played with her heart when she truly honestly loved him, reports of her dating Gyllenhaal have prompted celebrity bloggers to issue him a (more or less serious) warning: behave or she’ll sing about you next.
