Akella is deep in business this time of the year, as they and CDV Software Entertainment USA are bringing yet another PC title, this time a space combat one - Tarr Chronicles. It'll hit North America sometime in September, as a sci-fi dogfighting game, dropping players into the pilot seat of a deadly space fighter.

Pilots and their AI teammates will have to struggle to protect the remains of humanity from an enemy onslaught, in a razor sharp rendered 3D space, plunging them in this futuristic world where there is no right or wrong - only the survival of the fittest.

The game's plot goes something like this:

Lost in space and deep behind enemy lines, the player must don an elite fighter pilot's uniform and defend the galaxy's last hope in Tarr Chronicles, a gripping arcade-style space combat simulation in development by Quazar Studio and Akella. At your disposal are dozens of detailed high-tech fighters bristling with cannons and rocket launchers, yours to fly against an unstoppable alien menace - the De'Khete. Intelligent squad mates with unique personalities will assist you in frenzied white-knuckle space battles between vast fleets of fighters and massive capital ships. From fully-customizable equipment to collectible badges and fast-action combat encounters, Tarr Chronicles will keep you pinned to your seat.

Akella and Primal Software are also rolling out a new third-person action game, as I mentioned in the first paragraph, making the delight of gamers with match fights, diverse weapon applications and tactics. That game is '2025: Battle for Fatherland,' which will engulf countries with fire, explosions, death and threatening enemies.

Remember, Tarr Chronicles, published by CDV Software Entertainment and developed by Russian developer, Akella, will be released in North America for the PC in September, this year. See CDV's official site for more on this newly announced title.
