Capcom has also plans to release Devil Kings 2 and another, unnamed title by the end of the year

According to Wired's gamelife blog, Wii survival horror title Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is still on for a 2007 release. Not many details about the game are known, yet it's said that it will borrow some of the over-the-shoulder-style perspective that previous titles in the series provided players with. So the Wii doesn't get only kiddie titles after all. And I can only imagine what motion sensitive control will be like in a game that scares the living crap out of you.

Still, Wii games where you have to aim and shoot are difficult to get along with. The first time I tried aiming at an enemy in Call of Duty 3, I just couldn't do it. Further more, if I had made the slightest move of the Wiimote to the left or right and had kept my position for longer than a second, the image would just spin constantly. Hope that's not the case with Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Enemies appear from nowhere and before you know it, they're sucking on your leg, and that happens with a regular controller. I can only imagine how hard it will be to shake them off using the Wiimote.

E3 is where Capcom announced their Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and not only Resident Evil, but also Devil Kings 2, but just for Japan. Nothing is said about a US or European release. Still, Capcom says they have some more titles in the works at the studio and as they said, "at least one" of those will be launched this year. They're awfully busy over there at Capcom, I must say. But why do they tease both Nintendo and Resident Evil fans with all these announcements about titles waiting to be released, if they can't even specify the launch date for at least one of them? Especially for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.
