Even though it’s unconfirmed, it looks like the moment when fans are to say goodbye to Take That at least for a little while, is around the corner. A new report suggests the 5 singers will be taking a 2-year break soon to focus on other projects.

Though none of them ever said that the reunion was for good, fans were really hoping this to be the case, especially after the success of their comeback album “Progress” and the following EP “Progressed.”

Gary Barlow has hinted before that Robbie Williams will still want to put out a solo album; Robbie himself has recently spoken about the tracks he’s recorded for his next album.

In other words, they might be done with Take That for a while.

“Reports out today claim that those lovely Take That boys will definitely be taking a little extended break from the music world. The decision follows their hugely successful Progress Live tour – where the band played sell-out gigs in stadiums across Europe,” Heat World writes.

The tab also claims that the five men are again getting on each other’s nerves and they’ve come to the decision to take a break before they start fighting.

“At first it was fairytale, having Robbie back and being a five-piece again, but a few arguments and their touring schedule made it hard going. Howard, Jason and Mark all said they were shattered at the end of their tour,” a source says for the aforementioned media outlet.

With Robbie in LA now working on his upcoming album and Gary extremely busy with X Factor, things are up in the air with the band right now, the spy goes on to say.

“They [the boys] will be meeting up to discuss things after Christmas. They all love touring and recording music, and have been totally dedicated to Take That but nothing has been decided about what happens next,” says the insider, hinting that a break is most likely in the books.
