Canadian mobile phone carrier TELUS has just added a new smartphone to its website, with a coming soon tag on it, namely the 4G Samsung Galaxy S II X.

The new handset was spotted into the wild before, said to be on its way to the wireless carrier, and now all went official on its near availability, though it still remains to be seen when it is actually released, and what price tag it would feature.

“The 4G Samsung Galaxy S II X is Canada’s fastest smartphone on Canada's fastest coast-to-coast 4G network. Powered by Android 2.3. Only from TELUS,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

The new mobile phone comes to the market with a large 4.5-inch touchscreen display, a Super AMOLED Plus panel, which should offer a great experience when it comes to viewing photos or videos while on the go, or to browsing the Internet on the phone.

The smartphone also packs a dual-core application processor inside, clocked in at 1.5GHz and capable of providing users with increased performance capabilities, and with the ability to run multiple applications at the same time.

Not to mention that it can provide support for 4G download speeds of up to 42 Mbps on the wireless carrier's network.

The specs list of this device also includes:

- Wi-Fi web hotspot access to your laptop or tablet - Adobe Flash 10.3 lets you access to videos and games online - Make video calls using the 2MP front facing camera - Enjoy the benefits of Samsung’s Touchwiz access to 4 unique service hubs – Reader, Games, Music and Social - FREE Google Maps Navigation for turn-by-turn voice guidance and Google Maps in 3D - Access over 200,000 amazing free and paid apps from the continuously growing Android Market.
