Hopefully more than just rumors

It seems that the rumors concerning T-Mobile's future plans for the ongoing year continue today as well, this time with leaked info on Visual Voicemail that will come towards the carrier's subscribers as soon as July. While agreeing that the feature will surely make a lot of the company's users very happy, we also hope that it will indeed come on the 16th of July, as the news suggests.

Though the Visual Voicemail has been spotted on the carrier's roadmap, there are no details on what devices will feature support for it or on any additional fees that will come along with it, if any. For what it's worth, it seems that the wireless carrier will have quite a busy second half of the year, as there are at least two Windows Mobile-powered phones expected to land on its airwaves in the time frame, not to mention some other Android-based handsets recently spotted in the wild.

And since we're at the Android rumored devices heading towards T-Mobile, we should also mention some news about a possible netbook that will run under the operating system, while being manufactured by HTC. The rumors suggest that we're talking about a netbook-type device that will also include 3G connectivity while going for the operator's lineup.

These are not the first rumors about Android-powered netbooks, though they are the first to include HTC and T-Mobile in the equation, yet they make sense in a way, if we're to consider that both companies already have some experience with the OS, while HTC is also known to have a “mobile computer” called the “HTC Shift” that runs Windows Vista.

There are no details on said device at the moment, but more info is expected to surface in the near future. We're quite interested in an Android netbook coming from HTC, since the company is the first to release a smartphone featuring the OS, while other companies already announced plans to include the platform in low-power mobile computers.
