Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA is reportedly preparing the launch of its own buy one get one for free promotion, following the success the deal has registered on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless, it seems. The new promotion is expected to be put in place as soon as today, and should be available until March 3, but only selected markets in the US will benefit from it, it seems.

According to TmoNews, T-Mobile should announce today the new BOGO promotion for a series of devices included in its offering. The deal will be launched in test markets for the beginning, and these are said to be Mid-Atlantic, New York City, New York Metro, New Jersey, Pennsylvania/Upstate New York, Mountain Plains, Georgia, Los Angeles and Pacific Northwest.

The news site also published a list of device that will be included in the promotion, as follows: “Samsung Behold II, BlackBerry Pearl 8120 (all colors), BlackBerry Curve 8520, BlackBerry Curve 8320 (all colors), BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Bold 9700, T-Mobile G1, T-Mobile myTouch 3G, T-Mobile myTouch 3G with 3.5mm jack, T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition, Motorola CLIQ, BlackBerry Pearl Flip, Sidekick LX 2009, T-Mobile Sidekick (2008) HTC Touch Pro II, T-Mobile Dash 3G.”

It seems that T-Mobile might indeed step on the same road as Verizon, since the acquisition of a new device coupled with a free handset will require the signing of a contract agreement for each of the phones, and only 2-year postpaid Even More contracts are included in the offering, which are also coupled with a $30 data package. Those who wish to upgrade to a new device won't benefit from the offer, neither will those on an Even More Plus or FlexPay plan.

For the time being, the only pieces of info that emerged on the promotion suggest that the wireless carrier will launch it in test markets, but nothing on the availability of the deal in other areas emerged. However, T-Mobile should unveil all the necessary details as soon as today, when it goes official with the BOGO promotion, so stay tuned to learn how it turns out in the end.
