One of the newest Android-based mobile phones that will soon come to the market is the T-Mobile Pulse (Huawei TouchPhone 8220), which was officially announced at the beginning of September, and which is now reportedly getting ready to come to the Netherlands on October 12. The new phone can be already spotted on T-Mobile's website, and users in the country will only have to wait about two weeks before they can get their hands on it.

The specification list of the device includes a TFT touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 320 pixel resolution and is said to support 65,000 colors, a 5.0-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, 288MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz processor, speakerphone, USB connectivity, and support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS / HSDPA to 7.2mbps/GSM/GPRS frequencies.

Other specifications on the device also include E-mail capabilities, HTML browser, MP3 Player, Video player, support for games, a built-in GPS receiver, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device includes a battery that can deliver up to 480 minutes of talk time or up to 750 hours of standby time. The T-Mobile pulse measures 112 x 56.2 x 14.4 mm and weighs 135 grams. A second camera to enable video calling is also said to come in the package.

The fact that it will come to the market with Google's Android operating system is one thing that you all know by now, yet there are no details on which flavor of the OS it might run under. Gmail, Google Maps and Google Talk enjoy direct access from the handset, which will also offer users application downloads through the Android Market. The T-Mobile Pulse is available for the carrier's users for free upon the signing of a one-year contract agreement with a 29.45 Euro per month plan.
