This week, wireless services provider T-Mobile is giving away a number of no less than 10 HTC Sensation 4G smartphones, to celebrate Father's Day. The mobile phone carrier will offer these devices for free through a competition that will be detailed on its Facebook page as of today.

All those mobile phone users in the United States interested in getting one of these should head over to the said page to learn more on the matter.

“Next week, we are giving away 10 HTC Sensation 4G smartphones to celebrate Father's Day. Check out T-Mobile's Facebook page on Monday for the contest details,” T-Mobile notes on Facebook.

Undoubtedly, the Sensation 4G is one of the most appealing Android-based mobile phones to arrive on the US market lately, and T-Mobile it hopes to attract a lot of users on its side with it.

The smartphone will go for sale at the wireless carrier as soon as this week, on June 15th, to be more precise, and will feature a price tag of $199 upon the signing of a contract agreement.

Featuring a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display and a powerful 1.2GHz dual-core application processor inside, it would certainly seem like a great option for many users. The mobile phone also comes with 1GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of external memory.

Moreover, it sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for recording videos in full HD, as well as a secondary camera on the front for video calling.

The specifications list of the new device also includes support for the wireless carrier's HSPA+ network, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and built-in GPS receiver.

The handset hits shelves pre-loaded with a wide range of Google Mobile Services, as well as with support for applications available for download through the Android Market.
