HTC Sensation 4G, the flagship Android-based device that wireless carrier T-Mobile will add to its offering starting with June 15th, is already selling at some Walmart locations around the country, various reports around the Internet suggest.

The mobile phone was expected to hit the shelves at T-Mobile as soon as June 15th, while arriving in Walmart stores on June 12th, just as the wireless carrier announced last week.

However, it seems that some eager Walmart stores already sold the device to also eager end-users, and that more than just a few HTC Sensation 4G units are at large in the country.

According to an XDA-Developers forum thread (via TmoNews) while more than one Walmart location already sold the device to customers, although not all attempts to get a device might be successful.

Undoubtedly, the HTC Sensation 4G is one of the most powerful handsets to arrive on shelves at T-Mobile, and a lot of people are attracted to it.

Not to mention that the Walmart deal is even more appealing that T-Mobile's, since the HTC Sensation 4G will be available for $199 after a mail-in rebate at the carrier, and for only $149 when purchase through the retailer.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the HTC Sensation 4G is the same Sensation that HTC launched only a few months ago, which is already available for purchase in other markets around the country.

The handset features a dual-core Snapdragon application processor with each core clocked in at 1.2GHz, complemented by a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display for a great viewing experience while on the go.

The handset is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and features 1GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of external storage.

The specs list of HTC Sensation 4G also shows support for the wireless carrier's HSPA+ airwaves, as well as for WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi Hotsopot capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, or 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the back, the mobile phone sports an 8MP camera with support for recording full HD videos, complemented by a front-facing camera for video calling.
