Yesterday, wireless carrier T-Mobile unveiled some more info on the availability and pricing of their latest Android-based addition, the HTC Sensation 4G, and some more details on the matter are now available for enthusiasts.

The wireless carrier plans on making the new high-end smartphone available for purchase on its network as of June 15th, priced at $199 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a mail-in rebate.

However, for those who would like to purchase the device contract free, the carrier unveiled via Twitter a “$549.99 + applicable tax” cost that might not sound too encouraging to many.

Even so, considering that the mobile phone comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz application processor and many other high-end features, the price tag does not seem to be that leveraged, that's for sure.

On contract, the device would be $350, after a $50 mail-in rebate the wireless carrier has put in place for it.

The HTC Sensation 4G should become the most powerful Android-based mobile phone in T-Mobile's offering when made available for purchase.

The said application processor is complemented by 1GB of RAM, as well as a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display that can boast a qHD resolution.

The handset also arrives with support for the wireless carrier's HSPA+ network, as well as with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS receiver, DLNA compatibility, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone will be launched with a series of pre-loaded applications and services as well, including:

HTC Watch: A library of the latest, premium movies and TV shows available for rent or purchase using innovative progressive download technology HTC Listen: A VIP pass to a library of millions of songs with the freedom to transfer purchases to another device or computer T-Mobile TV: A free selection of live and on-demand TV including news, sports and kids programming, plus full episodes of popular shows T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik: Video conversations with friends and family through T-Mobile’s network and over Wi-Fi Slacker Radio: Free, personalized radio with over 150 genre stations and the ability to create your own stations

Set to land in T-Mobile's stores and on its online store on June 15th, the mobile phone would be released through Walmart on June 12th, the wireless carrier announced.
