The Clone Wars is another box office success that is now making its debut on mobile platforms thanks to THQ. If you're into this type of stories, and if you enjoyed the movie, you'll surely get a kick out of this miniature version of the war, where you are the leading “actor.”

The game starts off with, of course, you as a Clone trooper leading your men from planet to planet, trying to uncover the Separatist's Army secret weapon and to find the mastermind behind a terrible ambush.

In this quest or campaign, whatever you want to call it, your men and you will be facing all kinds of dangers and battles throughout 15 levels. You will have to safely cross caverns, bunkers, tunnels, and undergo all sorts of rough conditions, battling all along many types of droids that will make it pretty hard for you to survive. Also, many characters you have seen in the movie will be present throughout your adventures, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous, as well as several characters from the new TV series, like Ahsoka Tano, Clone Captain Rex or Clone Trooper Denal.

This game will provide plenty of action and, if you like this type of adventures, you probably won't get bored until you've finished the game a few times over. You will definitely have fun trying to stay alive, but plenty of concentration will be required in order to prevail and not lose your nerve after failing a few times. There is no information yet regarding the graphics quality, so this might turn to be a downside of the game. However, other than this possible minus, everything is in order for many gaming hours.

This Star Wars version will be competing with the Lucas Arts video game, not only because both are released on the same day, but also because they feature similar challenges. For those interested, the Lucas Arts version is to be available on Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, while the animation Star Wars film will premiere soon too.

This THQ release is just one of the series, which includes other successful episodes, such as The Force Unleashed, The Lightsaber Unleashed, Revenge of the Sith and others. The Clone Wars is expected to have at least the same impact that some of the other episodes have had and, if the game is good as it sounds, that will be fairly easy to accomplish.
