7Seas Technologies, an Indian game developer, has announced the release of seven 3D mobile games developed especially for high-end phones. Players will be able to choose from a variety of different genres, and all Bollywood fans out there will even get a guest star appearance by India's own Bollywood starlet Neetu Chandra.

Speaking of the release, 7Seas said, through its Managing Director L. Maruti Sanker, that, “We have put in a lot of effort and investment of USD 1 million to develop these games for worldwide gamers. It took around 18 months for us to develop these games. With the penetration of high-end mobile handsets that support 3D mobile games increasing day by day and the prices decreasing drastically, our focus going forward would be on 3D Mobile Games.”

Sanker also revealed plans for more games - "By March 2009, our plan is to launch three more 3D mobile games across various genres. In keeping with the new emerging trends in the mobile gaming scenario, we will be focusing on celebrity-based games with the stories revolving around Bollywood actresses and actors. Every year, we intend to introduce at least two Bollywood actresses and actors and enable their fans to play 3D mobile games based on their favourite stars."

The 3D games that the company has released are 3D Sudoku, the famous Japanese puzzle game, Planet of Sudoku 3D, Great Elude, a 3D shooting game, Derby 3D, a multi-player or single player horse racing game, Treasure Trove, a third person shooter, Kraze International Car Race for car race fans (obviously), and Neetu – The Alien Killer, a third person RPG (Role Playing Game) that features Neetu Chandra as the main character.

The games are available for download on 7Seas' free user-generated content portal Mobizill, which is currently at its beta version.
