Video game developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts have announced three offers for those who are playing the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, as long as they manage to reach certain criteria before certain dates.

High-level players, meaning those who have an active level 50 character will get 30 days of free play time in the MMO as long as they have redeemed their official Game Product Registration Code at the Code Redemption Center and have previously signed up for a recurring subscription using a valid payment method.

Checks for high-level characters will be made at 10 AM Pacific Daylight Time today.

A Legacy Tauntaun Ram will also be offered for free to all players of Star Wars: The Old Republic as long as they have an active account in the game by the same time limit.

Finally, BioWare is tempting players who have engaged with the MMO, and then left to come back, by allowing them to play for free for seven days as long as they re-activate their accounts by 10 AM PDT.

Those who have been previously banned from Star Wars: The Old Republic are not eligible for any of the above offers.

The BioWare-made Star Wars MMO has recently received the major 1.2 update, which introduces the new Legacy system while also giving players more quests to perform and more options when it comes to the development of their characters.

The game launched in late 2011 and quickly managed to get close to 2 million active players, although publisher Electronic Arts has not provided an update on subscriptions since the middle of January.

The rewards offered by game developers might be seen as a sign that they are worried about players numbers and are trying to get as many of them interested in the long term as possible.

More updates for Star Wars: The Old Republic are planned for this year.
