The Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia high definition trilogies may be arriving soon on the Xbox 360, if a listing on the website of the Entertainment Software Rating Board is to be believed.

Ubisoft is getting into the remastered in high definition business with full force, after Sony led the way, and is getting ready to release trilogies of classic PlayStation 2 titles, in HD, for the PlayStation 3.

Now though, according to a listing from the ESRB, Xbox 360 versions of the two trilogies may also be arriving soon.

More specifically, the website lists Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time HD, Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within HD, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones HD, Splinter Cell HD, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow HD and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory HD for the Xbox 360.

Ubisoft, after lots of speculation and leaked retailer listings, finally acknowledged that the Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell trilogies will be launched for the PlayStation 3.

While the company already deployed the Prince of Persia HD one in Europe on a single Blu-ray and in North America as a digital download through the PlayStation Network, it is now getting ready to release both it and the Splinter Cell HD one on separate retail Blu-ray discs on March 22.

The possibility of seeing the two collections on the Xbox 360 is pretty high, however, as the French company is already set to release a high definition remake, Beyond Good & Evil HD, on the platform in March, as part of the Xbox Live House Party promotion.

As of yet, Ubisoft declined to comment on the ESRB listing, but don't act surprised if these games will make their way onto the Xbox Live Marketplace as digital downloads in the following months.

Meanwhile, the PlayStation 3 is receiving more and more high definition remastered classics, both through Sony, with the Team Ico collection, and other third-party developers, like Crystal Dynamics, which is launching a Tomb Raider trilogy in March.
