Following the success that was their 2007-2008 tour, which was the first time the five original members shared the same stage together in almost a decade, the Spice Girls are thinking of making another comeback. They do have a problem, though, and it’s not the kind that one can just wipe off: Victoria Beckham doesn’t even want to hear about singing and touring again, AceShowbiz writes.

Reports in the British media cited by the aforementioned glossy e-zine say that all the other four Girls (women, to be more accurate) are on board with the idea of a new reunion tour. Mel B, Mel C, Ginger and Baby Spice have all given their OK for this, but Posh would have nothing to do with it, for she’s long decided she wants to focus on her career in fashion, which means she’ll never make music again. The other four bandmembers are not losing all hope just yet, it is being said.

“The Spice Girls are hoping to regroup for another comeback tour – but the bandmembers are struggling to convince Victoria Adams to return, according to a UK report. The ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers thrilled fans when they returned for a sold-out world trek in 2007 and 2008 – the first time the original line-up had performed together since Geri Halliwell quit to go solo in 1998. Following the jaunt, Beckham vowed to hang up her microphone for good to concentrate on her fashion ventures. The girl group is now reportedly eager to get back on stage,” AceShowbiz writes.

One unnamed source even confirms this, saying that, should the reunion happen, the Spice Girls may even come out with new material, unlike the first time that happened. “The girls are so excited. They are buzzing about getting back together and each have so many new ideas and so much to bring to the table. They are desperate to get Posh [Beckham] on board, but that is the sticking point. Although she’s still so nostalgic about the good old days, she has moved on now and is relishing the fashion world. They don’t want to give up on her, but have so many plans. The way things are going they might have to go on without her if she doesn’t come round soon,” the spy reveals.

As some fans may remember, this is actually not the first time that reports about another Spice Girls reunion, this time sans Posh, emerge. Back in October last year, spies were telling the tabs that Melanie Brown was personally in charge of making another tour happen and she’d already decided the Spice Girls would go on without Victoria if need be, as we also informed you at the time.
