It should go official tomorrow

Japanese-Swedish mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson is already known to plan officially announcing on November the launch of its first handset powered by Google's Android operating system, namely the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 (formerly known as X3), and the gadget's supposed user interface has just emerged in a new video, after being spotted into the wild a few months ago.

For what it's worth, that so-called Rachael user interface managed to warm our hearts the first time we saw it, and it did the same this time as well. The resemblance with the Android operating system that we know is reduced to such an extent that one would even think that the phone doesn't even run the operating system at all.

Sony Ericsson has definitely taken its time with the development of an Android-based mobile phone, and some of you might even remember that the company said it would not launch one until it was ready to do so, yet it seems that it will make things right this time. Take a look at the video below to make an idea of what is reportedly heading to the market on that Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 / X3 handset.

The phone has been rumored to be capable of delivering some very attractive specs and features to the market, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (clocked in at 1GHz), an 8-megapixel photo snapper, and a large screen. The Rachael UI video shows a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, the same as on Motorola's DROID phone, so things are getting better by the minute.

The maker has already made available a teaser video with the device, and also launched a web page that points towards a November 3 official announcement, so it should be only one day before all the details on XPERIA X10 / X3 become available. Hopefully, the phone will live up to the expectations and won't be as expensive as previously thought.
