Will it be Sony?

Somebody is finally taking a stand against all this game console frenzy, and all the things that derive from this gaming madness. This person is the mayor of Boston, Thomas Menino.

If you live in the U.S. you were probably affected in some way by the PS3 launch, especially that during Friday's Copley Plaza PS3 release, the police force had to interfere in order to calm down some 500 gamers gone amok. Twelve police cars came to the "crime" scene and tried to calm down gaming spirits. But when the stores' door opened at 5:00 am, the crow rushed in and the chaos was unleashed. Some of them got arrested, some escalators were broken, but who cares? Apparently, the mayor of Boston does.

Many of the people standing in line were angry because Sony did not reveal the number of PS3 consoles available, allowing people to stand in line for nothing. Thomas Menino believes that someone should pay for all of this and that someone might by Sony. But first, they need to do an estimate of the costs; of course the broken elevators can be fixed, but what about all those people? Can they get their dignity back? Can you put a price on it?
