They all should start selling by the end of November, 2011

As always, Sharkoon isn't letting too much time pass without some sort of product release, in this case having prepared not one, but three lines of power supplies.

The three PSUs that Sharkoon created and set up on its website are the QP400, QP500 and QP600.

The QP400 is detailed in full here, while the QP500 and QP600 share the same product page, the one here.

Mostly, the QP series is just one, and the latest, family of power supply units that Sharkoon developed.

As the names of the trio fairly obviously suggest, they had power outputs of 400W, 500W and 600W, respectively.

In that order, they will sell for €49.99, €54.90 and €64.90, which equates to $69.96, $71.23 and $90.82, respectively.

On to the specifications, the newcomers are, understandably enough, quite similar when the different wattages aren't factored in, and this extends to more than looks.

Dual 12V rails exist, for instance, and all three have non-modular designs, which is the common choice for PCs.

Users that want modular units, or something with just one 12V rail, might be more interested in the ZT-Series, which we covered a while ago.

Additionally, the company managed to get all members of the trio to comply with the ATX12V v.2.3 standard.

Furthermore, the QP PSUs have a power efficiency of up to 85%, which is no small matter, since it did earn them the 80Plus Bronze certification. Other assets include active PFC (power factor correction) and 120mm fans.

Sharkoon may or may not intend these newcomers to be paired with the Vaya Value Edition case, another of its recent releases.

Finally, if it is higher affordability that is being sought, the Cooltek Value Series, to give one example, will probably fit that role better (they are described here).
