Since the November 1st release of Need For Speed Carbon for PCs, no further content or patches were released. Some may accuse EA of being cheap or lazy, but - apparently - this is not the case anymore as they have decided to release a patch for the latest installment in their racing franchise, a patch meant to upgrade you copy of Carbon to version 1.3.

EA has decided to please fans all around the world, so they released a patch for each region. You can download the U.S. patch by clicking HERE, the U.K. patch from HERE, and collectors' edition U.K. patch from HERE. As always, Softpedia is the first to bring you the best in patches and upgrades. This new patch addresses online issues mainly. The online misidentification screen bugs have been fixed as were the issues regarding Online Pursuit Tag. The patch includes some more fixes but you have to discover those on your own.

Need For Speed Carbon is the first installment in the NFS series launched on all available consoles, and I bet that EA will register a large success with this game. It features cars from all its previous installments but also new models, including the Audi Le Mans Quattro, Shelby GT500 and Chevrolet Chevelle SS. There will also be a portable version soon to be released on PSP, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, called Need For Speed Carbon: Own the City.
