Samsung has made the headlines during the past few weeks with a lot of rumors regarding the handsets the Korean mobile phone maker plans to unveil at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. While some of the new devices have been confirmed by the company, others remain in the rumor side or have been denied, yet now we learn that the company is set to announce some other phones at the show, ones that would feature a DLP pico projector.

According to the latest news on the Web, Samsung will come to MWC with its Samsung I7410, designed for the European market, as well as with the Samsung W7900, made for the Korean market, both of which are projector phones. Actually, to be more precise, we're talking about the same phone model, only that it will hit different markets under different names. As for the capabilities of the projector, it can enable users to view various image sizes, up to 50 inches, depending on ambient light conditions.

The DLP Pico Projector is not all about Samsung I7410/W7900, as there will also be an OLED color touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera to leverage functionality. In addition, the Samsung Projector smartphones will also include Sharing Powerpoint Slides, Viewing Email Attachments, Viewing pictures, Watching videos, as well as the possibility to use the projector as a flashlight. The handsets also sport Intuitive flick navigation for presentations and photo slideshows, as well as Ultra-contemporary sleek and lightweight design and Built-in audio speakers.

It is a great thing that the Korean mobile phone maker decided to add some more features to the phones, although no other details on the specifications of the Samsung I7410/W7900 have been unveiled at the moment. According to the news, the W7900 is expected to hit the Korean market later this month, while I7410 will come to Europe in the near future.
