14 DAY TRIAL // No, this is not about Samsung becoming a huge entity that now is able to speak. Those are not the first words ever said by some kind of newly born being just evolved from one of the biggest mobile phone manufacturers worldwide. It is about three phones that Samsung has forgotten to add to the final release of their official website.
But they do appear on one of their press releases on Samsung's site, a press release mentioning some newly added phones to the list of the ones already developed and unveiled by Samsung and here is a small excerpt of what it says: "Three Innovative Cellular Phones from Samsung to be unveiled @ CES 2007".
Sounds quite mysterious isn't it? I'm guessing these might be the handsets going to be released on the networks of the three largest mobile carriers in US, phones codenamed as the Robin, a cellphone meant to be launched on Verizon, the Spear which is going to get released on Cingular and the Flipper heading over to Sprint.
Are they some models already released by the Korean mobile phone manufacturer? Are they some new products going to arrive on the mobile market? No one knows yet, but the rumors can't be stopped to emerge and, from what I was able to grasp about them until now from the websites I visited related to this subject, it seems that Robin might be the i760 Windows Mobile Pocket PC and the Sprint Flipper will come clean as the Ultra Audio F300 cellphone.
The Spear is the only one of the three of which no one knows anything about yet. I don't know why is that and how come not even rumors have gone out about it. Maybe the Cingular team has hired a pack of super secret highly trained information protective guys capable of stopping even the most tiny leak of information. Or maybe not :).
One thing is for sure in this whole story and there it goes: until now, this is the info available about the future to be launched handset trio from Samsung. Don't despair though because I'm more than sure things are going to get revealed one way or the other and as soon as anything new comes to surface, I will get right on it and inform you as soon as possible.
