Verizon Wireless already has devices like the Motorola DROID Bionic or the Pantech Breakout available for purchase for users interested in getting a taste of its LTE network, yet it seems that the carrier is also aiming at bringing some other new handset on shelves as well, such as the recently leaked Samsung Stratosphere.

The new device was spotted in a series of leaked documents from Verizon, and has also made it in leaked photos, yet specific details on the hardware capabilities it might include were not available before.

However, what appears to be the full hardware specifications for the new device have just emerged into the wild, and you can have a look at them below.

The Samsung Stratosphere is reportedly on its way to the market with a 1GHz processor inside, complemented by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot that can accommodate cards of up to 32GB (a 4GB card should be included in the retail package).

The smartphone is said to be a slider, packing a full landscape QWERTY keyboard hidden beneath a large four-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen.

On the back, it should sport a 5-megapixel photo snapper, with support for video recording, complemented by a 1.3MP camera on the front, which can be used for video calling.

The upcoming LTE-enabled smartphone is expected to run under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, and to sport Samsung's TouchWiz user interface on top of it.

The mobile phone will also pack a nice range of Google Mobile Services, including Gmail, YouTube, Search, or Maps, and will offer fast access to the Android Market, so that users can download and install applications and games on their devices.

As the specs show, the Samsung Stratosphere is expected to arrive on shelve as a mid-range smartphone, featuring an affordable price tag. Nothing was officially confirmed on it for the time being, but it might be launched early next month, rumor has it.
