South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is among the manufacturers expected to unveil some impressive new devices during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month, and some more proof of that has just emerged.

At the upcoming event, set to take place between February 14th to 17th, the leading handset vendor should take the scene and unveil the successor of its highly popular Samsung Galaxy S.

The company already hinted at the upcoming availability of the next-generation Galaxy S smartphone, which should be unveiled on February 13th, and has also released a video teaser for the device, so as to make us want more.

The emergence of this video also shows that the mobile phone is set to become the company's flagship product for the ongoing year, packed with hardware above the crowd, though specific info on the phone has yet to emerge.

Some of the previous reports on this mobile phone suggested that it would be set to land on shelves with a dual-core application processor inside, complemented by a comparable amount of RAM.

Moreover, the upcoming handset should also pack inside enough memory to fit the needs of any user, along with a microSD memory card slot for those who would like to expand the available storage space even more.

The touchscreen display of this phone was rumored to be a Super AMOLED Plus one, though the rest of its specifications are a mystery for the time being.

Most probably, Samsung would adopt the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system for this device, though it remains to be seen whether it would also pack it with its own user interface or not.

Until more info on Samsung's next Galaxy S smartphone emerge, you should take a look at the video embedded below, to learn a few details on the features it might sport when available.
