Mobile phone users in Argentina have now the possibility to purchase yet another high-end handset that just went available in the country, namely the Samsung Omnia II. Running under Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, the phone seems to be one of the nicest devices launched into the wild during the ongoing year. The handset has now landed in Argentina, and enthusiasts in the country can purchase it from the wireless carrier Personal.

The Omnia II was available for pre-order in Argentina for the past few weeks via Personal, and now it went on sale already. The handset is available for purchase with two different options, it seems, one having it with the price tag set at ARS$ 1499 with an All Inclusive Plan that includes 300 minutes of voice calls, 300 SMS, 300MB of data and unlimited free communication with 5 numbers (4 lines on Personal and 1 land line).

However, there are also other options that mobile phone users in Argentina can choose from, including one that brings the handset to the table for ARS$ 1699, and also requires for the All Inclusive Plan 200 to be chosen, which delivers 200 voice minutes, 200 SMS, 200 MB of data and unlimited free communication with 5 numbers (4 lines on Personal and 1 land line)

The features list of the Omnia II shows that it can easily prove to be a must have phone. It comes with a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel photo snapper, an 800 MHz processor, 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi connectivity options, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G capabilities, FM Radio, Mp3 player, video recording and playback, as well as great Internet navigation capabilities, all within a device that measures 118 x 60 x 12.3 mm and weighs in at 129 grams.
