Samsung Netherlands has just started to retail the Pink Ribbon edition of the Galaxy S Plus and Chat 335 handsets.

Both handsets are available in white, but they feature a pink ribbon logo on the back hood, which shows the company's support for breast cancer awareness.

Furthermore, it appears that the Korean handset manufacturer will donate 10 EUR (about $14) for each Pink Ribbon handset sold, up to a total of 150,000 EUR (about $204,000), to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

While Galaxy S Plus targets Android fans who cannot afford the highly-acclaimed Galaxy S II smartphone, the Chat 335 is aimed at heavy texters who are using the messaging capabilities of their phones to the max.

Unveiled back in April, Samsung Galaxy S Plus was initially launched in Russia and other countries in Eastern Europe.

However, the phone was well received on the market and determined Samsung to release the Galaxy S Plus in additional European countries.

The smartphone is equipped with a single core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 205 graphics processing unit.

It runs Google's latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs 8 GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The Galaxy S Plus comes with a large 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, which is protected against scratches thanks to its Gorilla Glass display.

The main attraction of the Samsung Chat 335 is the comfortable portrait QWERTY keyboard and the optical trackpad.

The feature-phone has a 2.4-inch display with 262k colors support and 320 x 240 pixels resolution.

It packs only 60 MB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB).
