Just last week, we told you an uncovered leaked document showed the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and LG G Pad 8.3 would be arriving at Verizon, complete with LTE capabilities, on March 6.

Verizon announced the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE a few days ago, but now both slates have been made available on big red’s official website.

It’s taken a month for the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 to appear and now that it is here, one can behold its absolutely enormous price.

They don’t call them premium tablets for nothing., so the slate will take you back with as far as $849.99 / €613 without contract, and we’re not even talking about the 64GB of the slate, but the 32GB one.

Still, if you don’t mind jumping on a two-year contract with the carrier, you can get it for $749.99 / €541 a pop instead.

The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is one of the largest slates to be ever released by Samsung (that and the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2), coming with a spacious 12.2-inch display and boasting a nice 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution with 247 ppi density.

The slate runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and draws power from an efficient 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor combined with 3GB of RAM.

Like all Galaxy Note devices out there, the NotePRO can be used in concert with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, which enhances the overall tablet experience, especially in a working environment.

In other news, Samsung has finally announced the availability of the only slate it didn't offer so far on the US market, the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2. Basically, the TabPRO is pretty similar to the NotePRO, especially in terms of screen capability.

However, Samsung has switched the quad-core Snapdragon processor with one of its own offerings, adding an Exynos 5 Octa-Core 5320 processor. The slate will arrive on March 9, so if you’re interested in getting the TabPRO instead, you should keep an eye out towards the end of this week.

We’re not sure when we’re going to see an LTE version of the TabPRO 12.2 and if it's going to come out of Verizon or not.

Anyway going back to the new Verizon slates, the LG G Pad 8.3 has appeared on big red’s official website too and until March 10, customers will be able to get it for $99.99 / €73 with a two-year contract.

After that date expires, pricing goes up to $199.99 / €145 with the same two-year agreement. The slate will cost you $299.99 / €219 with no strings attached.
