During CES 2010 in Las Vegas

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it planned on bringing three of its latest handsets to the US during the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, namely the Samsung Corby, CorbyPRO and Galaxy Spica. According to the company, the three handsets set to soon make their US debut come with ultra-brilliant AMOLED displays, 800 MHz processor speeds, show Samsung's leadership in innovation, and also exemplify its commitment to the Android operating system.

Samsung Corby comes to the market with Samsung’s Touchwiz user interface, offering users the possibility to easily customize it with applications and widgets, some of which can be downloaded from Samsung's own widgets store. The handset also comes with easy connectivity to social networking sites, including Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, as well as YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket. The Corby also sports interchangeable colored back covers that offer additional customization possibilities.

The Samsung CorbyPRO comes to the market with a slide out QWERTY keyboard so that one can type text messages fast and easy. At the same time, the phone also comes with push e-mail services, access to Facebook and MySpace, a 3.5mm headphone jack and dedicated music keys for an enhanced multimedia experience, as well as with a 3-megapixel photo snapper, Wi-Fi connectivity, and support for 3G/HSDPA and quad band connectivity.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Spica, it sports Google's Android operating system on board, fast access to Google services (Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and Google Talk) and to social networking websites, including Facebook and MySpace. It is powered by an 800 MHz application processor, sports a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and enables users download and install a wide range of applications via the Android Market. Among other features, the phone also includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, DNSe 2.0 for increased sound quality, and support for DivX file formats.
