Samsung has announced last week their new Anycall D808 handset. Samsung Electronics pretends that their new mobile is the world's thinnest GSM slider with camera.

Even if it's not, D808 measures 97 x 52 x 14.9 mm and weighs only 98 g. Its slim design is bundled with many multimedia features, like a big 2.12 inch ultra-wide LCD display.

The phone supports GPRS and WAP data transfers, Bluetooth, USB and SyncML DS connectivity (used for media transfer), PictBridge and 80MB user memory. Anycall D808 includes a 1.3 mega-pixel camera with 4x digital zoom and built-in self-portrait mirror. This feature allows users to take very prominent and high quality pictures and video clips.

In addition, Samsung D808 includes support for MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA formats, speakerphone, Bluetooth compatible stereo headset with remote control for music entertainment, and a document viewer which supports documents of various formats like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, txt, pdf.

The slider contains also a newly added feature that animates the dialing font and the flash user interface for extra fun.
