Samsung announced recently the new SGH-i320 model, that features a slim and lightweight design. Its design and features make this smartphone clearly a rival of Motorola's Q and HP's iPAQ hw6900. You can say by just looking at its pictures that Samsung developed its own BlackBerry device. Obviously it runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition platform and has a QWERTY keyboard. The i320 model has individual keys for every letter, but allows users to press multiple keys for numeric dialing.

The smartphone offers tri-band (900/ 1800/ 1900) GSM compatibility with EDGE support in a light form factor of only 95 grams weight and 11.5 mm thickness. Samsung SGH-i320 features a 2.2-inch, landscape QVGA main display with 262K colours and a 1.3 Megapixel digital camera. In addition, it incorporates 120MB of on-board memory, microSD slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth connectivity, stereo speakers, speakerphone function and Office file format viewing.

Samsung didn't disclose any information regarding the price of the device or its availability.
