At the International Communication and Broadcasting Convergence Exhibition & Conference (ComBCon), Samsung introduced their new WiBro Phone, the SPH-H1000 - the first DMB phone with QWERTY.

The best part of the handset is the form factor, the manner in which it can be folded, twisted and rotated to get a comfortable PDA / mobile TV experience. The phone has a clamshell form but, when you want to use the phone as a PDA, you have to swivel the screen around and use the keyboard.

Users can watch TV on a 2.2 inch QVGA 262k colors screen or they can use the TV Out function that allows them to view their mobile TV on a real TV. The handset has a dual camera (2 megapixel and 3 megapixel respectively) and can also support VoIP calls. With the convenient QWERTY keyboard and network connectivity of WiBro, SPH-H1000 will be a useful device for businessmen on the go.

There is no word yet on how much this phone will cost or when it will be available, but it's almost certain that it will only be available in Japan and Korea.
