Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got married in a secret, intimate ceremony in September last year. With many months to go until their first wedding anniversary, the first divorce reports are also popping up, with Fox411 saying that trouble in paradise has reached such a point that a separation is imminent.

The two stars have kept their personal lives away from the glaring eyes of the media so far, which is why most people simply assumed theirs was the perfect fairytale romance. The aforementioned source says, however, that this is far from the case, as the two have been fighting constantly over the past months, with the last heated argument even ending in Johansson threatening with divorce.

Unnamed spies tell Fox411 that the last fight broke over arrangements for Comic-Con. “Scarlett, there to discuss her new role as Black Widow in ‘Iron Man 2,’ was set to appear on her panel with Robert Downey Jr. and other cast members. Ryan was just cast as the lead in ‘Green Lantern,’ a Warner Brothers flick. An insider tells FOX411 ‘they got in a huge fight just before they were going to Comic Con. It caused such a rift between them that Ryan refused to attend the conference and he told Scarlett she could go alone. She got so angry she threatened to take off her wedding band.’” the e-zine writes.

But that’s not all, as if reports of their crumbling marriage were not enough, Fox411 says. The same insiders claim that, by not attending the press conference and panel discussion at Comic-Con, Reynolds managed to anger Warner Bros. execs, and they might even reconsider having him as Green Lantern. Scarlett, on the other hand, came out of the situation just perfectly, since it wasn’t she who pulled out at the last minute.

“Ryan pulled out at the last minute and word spread fast. He isn’t making a show of good faith to the Warner team after they battled over the decision making him ‘Green Lantern.’ Scarlett ended up looking like the true professional and acted as if nothing was wrong, answering questions for fans and posing for pictures. It was not a good way for Ryan to begin his work as the star of the movie.” the snitch further explains for Fox411.
