The Canadian operator's whole lineup is now out in the open and even though those of us confiding greatly in Rogers may feel a little disappointed, the list still offers some more than worth-considering new models.

Starting with the Motorola devices, the Quadband GSM Q11 comes with the by now well-known GPS, 3.15 Megapixel camera and the Windows Mobile OS. Still, the Q11 represents one of the few mobiles on the list that do not have a launch date yet. Moving on, the VE66 HSPA 5-Megapixel camera slider is announced for the second half of 2009, whereas for the ZN5, we know that it will come in Q1, for $50 on a 3-year deal or $500 free of contract.

The next mobile on the list is the very popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which is set to come, as always, with the much desired Comes with Music application, sometime in the second or third quarter of 2009. Two other HTC cells, the Touch Pro and the Touch Viva, also come with very little information, the former being set to arrive in Q2 next year, whereas the latter in Q1 2009. Fortunately, this last one also comes with almost all pricing details, from $99 to $399 depending on the contract plan, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS and Wi-Fi capabilities, as well as possibly Touch 3G support.

Further on, we have the M8800 Pixon, which comes with an 8-Megapixel flash camera, and 7.2MB/s HSDPA. Continuing on the same path, the Sony C905a features an 8.1-Megapixel Xenon flash camera, 2GB memory card included, Wi-Fi plus music recognition and is set for Q2 2009, for $299 on a 3-year contract agreement.

Entering the top three, 2 Blackberry mobiles, the Storm and the Pearl Flip, come on the second and third places. The 9520 Storm will bring, in the first half of 2009, all the much needed updates on this device, as well as 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS support. On the other hand, the 8200 Pearl will not include too impressive features apart from the second video call camera. Even so, set for launch in the first half of 2009, the Pearl Flip is regarded as one of the most profitable mobiles the Canadian operator will release next year.

Saving the best for last, the Xperia X1, with almost no competition, takes hold of the first place, being by far the most anticipated device for Rogers' loyal users. Featuring 7.2MB/s HSDPA, a 3'' (800x480 pixels) display, Windows Mobile 6.1 and also Wi-Fi, the mobile is set for a launch date sometime in Q3 2009.
