A neat bundle's coming our way

It seems that the Blu-ray edition of the movie Resident Evil: Extinction will also pack a couple of goodies, the most important of them being a Resident Evil 5 demo. I wouldn't bet my house on such a release, but the list of contents doesn't end with the demo since the Blu-ray disk also packs a Devil May Cry 4 demo and some deleted scenes from the motion picture.

All of you Resident Evil fans will be pleased to find out that a CG version of the acclaimed movie will also follow, probably next year or in 2009. I suppose that it's going to be a totally new movie, as a remake wouldn't be as appealing right now. Maybe we'll see Mila Jovovich's virtual self getting naked, just like Angelina did in Beowulf. Till January we'll do with the game's PS3 trailer, which is an unique horror experience in itself, specially the part when local African zombies attack by throwing axes towards and going straight for your throat.

I guess we'll be seeing Resident Evil 5 on the PS3, perhaps on the Xbox 360 as well, but it all depends on Capcom and how long they're willing to work and develop in order to achieve the same success that the fourth installment had. Since RE5 will have next-gen stamped all over it, it will most likely not be ported to the Wii, but it's possible that it would hit Nintendo's device in order to take advantage of that popular Blaster Zapper. However, you'll have to enjoy a dumbed down version, when it comes to graphics.
