You must have heard about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, even if you're not a fan of one of Square Enix's media products. The animation movie will be soon available on a Blu-ray disk, which will bring the fans more than HD quality. There's some extra content included, revealed at the TGS, a couple of scenes that will help you figure out the movie's storyline in case you haven't played the initial game.

One of them features Cloud and Sephiroth and you'll see our all time favorite villain stabbing the movie's main character, as depicted in the article's adjoined picture. Also, the animation's graphics have been revamped and now you'll be able to notice that the characters are not so perfect any more and that their clothes can get dirty. Motorbikes will have gunshot marks, Cloud's clothes will be filled with dirt and finally those perfect faces will have wrinkles and acne, in normal limits.

Every scene that has been cut out of Advent Children's original version is now available in the movie's Blu-ray version, so you'll check out the Geostigma kids hanging around the streets of Midgar in one of the bonus scenes. It would be nice to see a little bit more of Aeris in Advent Children, or Zack, for that matter, since we got to play with him in the latest FF title, Crisis Core. Square-Enix have been extremely busy lately, announcing a PSP Kingdom Hearts title, releasing a couple of new FF XIII screenshots and providing us hints about a Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS3.

This revamped Advent Children will surely appeal to the series' hardcore fans, who would spend any amount of cash to get an extra glimpse of Cloud and Co. How about a full Final Fantasy VII movie, Square-Enix? Perhaps even a series...
