Ubisoft may be getting into the remastered in high definition business, as another retailer posted two separate listings for HD trilogies of the company's biggest franchises, Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell.

Sony has been leading the way in terms of remastering older and popular titles in HD, as seen with last year's God of War Collection, which contained God of War I and II, and will follow up that success with the upcoming Sly Cooper Collection and the future Team Ico package, with the Shadow of Colossus and Ico titles.

Now, according to a leaked listing from British retailer Zavvi, Ubisoft might soon follow up on Sony's success and also get into the HD remastering business through two of its biggest franchises, Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell.

Zavvi posted a listing for a Splinter Cell HD trilogy collection, slated to appear in November 26, as well as for the Prince of Persia HD trilogy, which was set to appear in March 11, 2011.

Both collections were priced at 29.99 pounds sterling each, roughly meaning 47 dollars, close to the 50 dollar price tag Sony attached to its own HD collections, and were only listed for the PlayStation 3 console.

Such leaks were also reported last month from the French Amazon website, which specified HD collections for the two popular series.

Given that they are both trilogies, it's safe to assume that the Splinter Cell collection will include the original Splinter Cell, from 2002, Pandora Tomorrow, from 2004 and Chaos Theory, from 2005.

The Prince of Persia trilogy is no doubt the Sands of Time collection, including the original Sands of Time, from 2003, Warrior Within, from 2004 and Two Thrones, from 2005.

As of yet, Ubisoft declined to comment on this retail leak, but given the close launch date of the Splinter Cell collection, it's safe to say that an official announcement is extremely imminent.
