Sony has officially confirmed that the God of War Collection release is coming on November 17 and has also put out a list of all the PlayStation 3 Trophies that gamers will be able to earn by playing the two titles included in it. The Collection is set to allow them to get through the two previous titles in the Kratos saga, prior to the 2010 release of the third one, with updated graphics and controls adapted for the PS3.

One good piece of news for those obsessed with Trophies is that there are separate lists for all of the games, which means that two of the very valuable Platinum Trophies can be earned by getting through the God of War Collection. To get both of them, the player needs to actually earn all other Trophies offered in the two games.

Bronze Trophies seem to be pretty easy to get, conditioned on getting items like Poseidon's Rage, Medusa's Gaze, Zeus' Fury or the Army of Hades. There are others linked to the completion of gameplay chapters and there are some tied to completing certain objectives within a certain time frame.

Silver Trophies seem to be somewhat tougher, conditioned mainly on collecting certain objects and killing certain bosses. Gold Trophies are really interesting, offered for completing the two games, but also for seemingly impossible tasks like “You Got the Touch!,” which is given for climbing the Spiked Column found in Hades with no damage taken, or “15 Min Fight Scene,” offered for taking less than ten minutes to get all the way through the Loom Chamber.

Of course, the entire God of War Collection is but an appetizer for the third game in the series, which is set to tell the final chapter of the adventures of Kratos and push the PlayStation 3 to the limit when it comes to both graphics and gameplay.
