Glu has taken a highly democrat approach to mobile gaming and gotten its feet deep in politics. This leading global publisher of mobile games has just released "White House Rumble", a mobile game that looks to provide entertainment to players through offering them a new approach on politics.

The game is especially designed for US handset users, bringing the figures of powerful politicians on this country's scene. Players will have the chance of facing them in the boxing ring and release themselves of all the anger gathered until now. The characters are depicted in a satirical manner that emphasizes their main attributes.

Each politician is recreated up to the point that its mobile version is more of a caricature of the real character. Thus, George W. Bush is a master taunter in stars-and-stripes boxing shorts, while Dick Cheney, complete with undershirt tan lines and hunting rifle. There is also Hillary Clinton, one moment sharply dressed, the next a muscle-bound behemoth and Rudy Giuliani, a "Thriller" dancing, green zombie. The list continues with Al Gore, accompanied by a monkey on his back and Barack Obama, a saint in his sparkling white gloves and shorts.

"I think people will really enjoy White House Rumble as it lets them see these public figures in a new, unexpected and hilarious way", said Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu. Moreover, "It's healthy to have a little sense of humor when it comes to the world of politics, and that's the outlet White House Rumble provides. What better way to pass some time than stepping into the ring and trading punches with your favorite politician?", he also added.

"White House Rumble" will be available in the future on all major U.S. mobile carriers and should bring a bold approach and a breath of fresh air to the entertainment that handset owners receive from their mobile phones.
