"Castlevania: Order of Shadows" will soon hit mobile phones in a unique and highly challenging form. Konami Digital Entertainment has taken the legendary videogame brand and adapted it to mobile phone gameplay.

"Castlevania: Order of Shadows" is the latest chapter in the popular videogame series, designed exclusively for the mobile platform. This new version does not look to copy the success of the previous game versions, but adds to it through an original approach. It brings new adventures, characters and perils, all to help it revive the world which has gained so many fans throughout the years.

"Mobile technology has exploded, providing powerful new tools to enhance today's mobile gaming experiences. Konami's esteemed game developers will be creating original titles based on the company's top franchises including Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid Mobile, Contra and others", said Joe Morris, Vice President of Konami Mobile. This game release shows that " As a worldwide leader in high quality, multi-platform videogames, Konami is looking to raise the entertainment standard of games for mobile phones", Joe Morris further added.

Konami Digital Entertainment has also launched a "Developer's Corner" on its website, in order to better welcome all new ideas meant to improve their work. The first installment of the Developer's Corner will feature a blog written by the lead game designer of "Castlevania: Order of Shadows", Tyrone Rodriguez.

The purpose of this new corner is that of discussing the game, starting with the discussing the genesis of the title, working with IGA on his vision for a mobile Castlevania game, and Konami's aspirations for improving mobile gaming experiences. The website will also include game emulators as well as art and video, for the user to have a first look and try of the applications before purchasing them.

"Castlevania: Order of Shadows" will be available starting with September 18 from all major carriers in the US, including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Networks. More information can be found at the Konami Digital Entertainment website.
