Deimos will be a playable character in God of War III through a special bonus

The upcoming God of War: Ghost of Sparta will feature a bonus code that will enable God of War III owners to unlock a special skin for the game that will enable them to play as Kratos' Brother, Deimos, throughout the game.

God of War fans are definitely catered for this year, as the hit God of War III was launched for the PlayStation 3, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta is getting ready to assault the PlayStation Portable next month.

As yet another special treat, the game's developer, Ready at Dawn, has revealed that a special unlock code will be packaged with special Ghost of Sparta titles, enabling God of War III owners to unlock a new playable character for the PS3 game, Deimos.

For those not up to speed with the God of War story, Deimos is brother of main protagonist Kratos, and has long been shrouded in mystery.

Now, it seems that the main story of God of War: Ghost of Sparta will focus around him, and how Kratos is desperately trying to find and save him.

God of War III owners will be able to use the code in the PSP game to unlock the Deimos character in their game, as he will feature enhanced damage and the ability to receive four times the amount of health, magic and god orbs.

Special God of War: Ghost of Sparta copies will have this code, each with a special inscription on the front cover.

Those who already ordered the God of War: Ghost of Sparta entertainment pack (aka the PSP bundle) don't need to worry, as all editions will have that code, as well as the regular editions that were already pre-ordered.

If you want to experience the stunning God of War III once more, through another character, then be sure to reserve your own copy of God of War: Ghost of Sparta, before it will be launched on November 2 in the USA.
