Japanese – Swedish joint venture Sony Ericsson has been rumored for quite some time now to be working on a mobile phone that will come to the market running under Google's Android operating system, yet it has been only recently that the Sonny Ericsson Rachael, supposedly the Android-based device that the company will add to the XPERIA series, has emerged into the wild.

Android enthusiasts and Sony Ericsson fan-boys alike are now able to rejoice while looking at the new images that surfaced with the phone, this time around showing it in black again, the same as when it leaked about a week ago. The great part is that the new images come with a better quality, so that we can enjoy the handset even more than before.

No further details on Sony Ericsson XPERIA Rachael have emerged into the wild this time either, and the only thing that we can say for sure about the Android-powered phone is that it will come to the market in two color variants, black and white. Hopefully, other colors will also become available, yet it remains for the mobile phone maker to officially announce the device to learn more details on this, or for more images with the handset to leak into the wild.

And, since we're mentioning the leak part, we should also note that GSM Arena suspects that the images have been made public on purpose, and that this is the way in which the company plans on stirring the interest on its Android phone. One way or the other, the device looks great, and we're sure that users will still be happy to see or learn more on it.

For what it's worth, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Rachael doesn't look great only on the outside, as the recently spotted video with its user interface has shown. Stay tuned to learn more details on this as soon as they emerge into the wild.
